Come join area residents for a fun-filled celebration of life and good health during September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  This year’s celebration will feature a Bicycle Ride and a 6K Fun Run and a balloon launch. The balloons will honor local victims of childhood cancer, as well as pediatric cancer survivors and their families. Admission includes food and beverages, fun games for adults, teens, and children, sporting events, crafts for children, and music arranged by Jeff Kline.

Money from ticket sales will be used to help area families with a child who has been newly diagnosed with cancer, as well as to provide targeted support to pediatric cancer research that has been identified as particularly worthy or in need of assistance this year. Ticket price is all-inclusive and entitles ticket holders to food and beverages, entertainment, and tethered balloon rides. Childhood cancer survivors from the area are invited. The balloon release will honor our young heroes and remember our very special angels.
